Abstract: The article analyzes the behavior of a group of students from the Academy of Journalism and Communication in response to COVID-19 fake news on social networks The results show that students using many social networks, owning a large social network that creates opportunities to access many COVID-19 information streams, but it also requires the ability to identify, verify, and behave in a civilized manner in handling and controlling fake news. A remarkable finding is that the majority of students regularly check the pandemic information through mass media, official social networking sites of authorities, but just over 60% of students take action to prevent fake news, mainly within the sphere of personal influence.
